So I had this great post in mind where I would have all these wonderful pictures with cousins many years ago from my grandma's house but then cleaning took longer than I thought & then the day was just gone but no worries, I will post this today and then repost with pictures!!
So Memorial Day weekend as a kid meant packing up Friday after school & heading out of town to Grandma's for a long 3-day weekend filled with cousins, softball, sleeping on the living room floor (unless you were an older cousin, then you got to sleep out in the camper), playing games in the yard, swinging on the swing set and climbing the willow tree! We always made a trip to the cemetery to place flowers on my grandpa's grave and drove to Fairfield to do the same for an uncle & other family members there. I looked forward to this time all year! I loved seeing my cousins...they all lived in Utah so we only got to see them this weekend and at a family Christmas party, if the roads were good. It was always a great weekend and I was always sad to go.

Awww! We should do that again for old time sake. Do you think the people that bought Grandma's house would mind?
