I crack myself up!! I'm such a nerd! I started sewing!
I found this quilt and fell in love!! How hard could it be right? It's just sewing squares together. I hadn't sewn since middle school when I made a pair of shorts in YW's, so I thought this would be a good place to get back into sewing. I have been wanting to make the kids nice quilts for there beds anyway and Kayla's birthday was coming so...here it is!
I picked out 14 brown/blue materials. Cut out 56 9 1/2 inch squares, 63 6 1/2 inch squares and 63 3 1/2 inch squares.

Putting the squares together just right! This actually wasn't easy making sure no 2 squares were the same!

Sewing squares on squares on squares...I thought it would never end!

The finished front! Finally all done! Now it just needs a back and quilted then I'm all done...sigh!! This part only took me 2 weeks though! I think it was less than 10 hours...remember I'm a SLOW & almost beginner sewer!
And here is all the material for Jennie's!

Cute, cute! You should have a quilting bee to get them quilted! I would come and help for sure!
These look amazing! I haven't touched a sewing machine in years, and there is no way in heck I could make quilts that look this great!!!
