Labor Day Sunday

Every Labor Day growing up we went camping with my dad's family somewhere in Idaho. Usually Sun Valley or Twin Falls. The last 3 years we haven't been able to make it for one reason or another and many other familes haven't been able to go either so my dad's siblings decided this 40+ year tradition needed to come to an end. I was really sad about this and again couldn't go this year but told Jer I wanted to try to go up for at least a day trip. So Sunday after church we packed some lunches, hopped in the car & headed to Sun Valley. It was SO worth the 3 hours each way to see my family. I miss them SO much & love them SO much. Here are a few pics before my camera died.

This is my dad's brother Larry. It is so funny to me how much they are alike that I never realized before. It makes me miss my dad though...Larry totally made me cry when I got there...he started it though!

Ammon on his quest for the biggest rock!

Digging up the biggest rock! When they finally got it out there was a cool ant colony under it. We got to see the different trails and the food made into crystal stuff...it really was pretty cool!

Mark in his chair...as always...away from everyone...I should have brought him a paper & it would be the same as usual!

Mina! No need to say more!

Kellie & me! She made me cry too!

Truan...this guy is seriously SO cute!! Love him!

Jer cooking our dinner with Uncle Duane and Aunt Pat...whose name is really Beverly & her brother Buddy is really Jack??? I love those weird things from forever ago!

My sweet little man waiting for Dad to come back down the hill.

We got to steal a couple 4 wheelers to take the family on a little trip! It was SO fun!
