I think this is the summer 1983??? Possibly '82...Anyway I love this picture because it makes my mom so frustrated with my dad...that sounds wrong, let me explain...
My dad was WAY into photography & when he got an idea in his head he would stop & go get it done!! It didn't matter what we looked like, what clothes we were wearing, if our hair was brushed...I think Sarah & I have some pics on a bookshelf with dinner still on our faces...Well I love these pictures because I'm like my dad in this way...I LOVE to take pictures of my kids in their 'REAL' self! Make sense...don't fancy them up...every once in a while is fine, don't get me wrong...but I want the most memories of the real life stuff...my kids most often are wearing their favorite clothes, which are most likely nasty, worn things because they are their favorites...and they don't always have the perfectly brushed hair or clean faces...as you see in a lot of my pictures on this blog!
*Sisters- you have asked where I am getting all my pics from...the box in mom's storage room. One of the perks of living here I guess!

I think you guys look cute! I love old pictures, and many of the ones that my mom has of us when we were little show us in all our little kid (messy hair, clothes and faces glory). They always make me smile.
