My niece was baptized this last Saturday night. She looked beautiful in her white baptism dress. Watching her made me think back to my baptism day. I remember just little bits of the day. I remember lots of family coming, getting this picture with my dad, practicing being 'dunked' by my dad in the overflow of the chapel, then my actual baptism, being so worried I was going to get water up my nose and walking out of the water. I remember someone giving a talk before my baptism in the chapel and feeling so excited! Then afterwards we picked up some Little Caesar's pizza, my favorite at the time, for a little family celebration! Even though I don't remember all of it I know it was a huge thing in my life. I have received many blessings in my life for making that decision when I was 8 years old & I am so thankful I did.
