Dreaming

So remember this story? I thought it was the end. Well, it was the end of that house, but not quite the end of the story. So we ended up having to short sale that house, so much for our great business plan. At the time we were SO happy to get out from under it. We were told in 2 years we should be able to get another house...this time one just to move into & live...no flipping. So we were so excited this last summer to start looking. We found out at that time that the way the short sale was recorded we'd have to wait one more year, our mortgage guy we talked to even did a couple months of research, fighting, whatever to show the title company they recorded it wrong, but they wouldn't budge. UGH!!! I was so sad, so frustrated! All my almost everything is in storage. I want my stuff in my own house!! I've had a really hard time with this! So our plans changed to one more year down the road....but it's been good. We think there might be a possibility that we can build our own house instead of buy an older one. We've found a couple lots that we can probably pay cash for...WOW, that blows my mind!!! And then we have a couple friends we're talking to that build houses that will let us do sweat equity. So now my head is in the clouds with dreams of building and finding plans I love that will fit the family. These are my top two favorites. Each one has a couple things we'd like to change but they're small. 

 This one here we'd wall off the kitchen opening to make the dining room a living room and extend the pantry a little. Not too much...

And this one...choice #2... we wouldn't change anything on the inside but would change a couple things on the outside. I'm not too fond of the long windows and the little thing on the roof over the garage...not big changes.
