Time to get serious!

I just wrote this really long post all about my past weight history. It was really rambling & none important...so...

18 months ago I was the most I've ever weighed in my life! Then I got pregnant, gained 24 more pounds, and then felt REALLY fat! I understand I was pregnant but still...I wanted to never weigh that much again! I decided after Dash was born I was going to really work on it. My baby is 9 months tomorrow!!! I can't believe it! They say "it takes 9 months to put it on, give yourself 9 months to get it off" I am happy to say as of about 4 weeks ago or so I have made it down to my pre-pregnant weight!!! I am so proud of myself!!! But still, I am the heaviest I've been in my life...where it really counts...not pregnant. Things have been very slow going lately...since about school started...so I've decided to make myself accountable to someone other than myself. That's where you come in, blogging world...hopefully there still is a blogging world...comments have been few & far between...but if I think you are there, then I'll act as though you are! I am going to do weekly weigh-ins, workout reports & what-not. Haven't decided on measurements & pictures yet, but we'll see.

Yesterday morning (I'm hoping to weigh-in every Monday) I was 160lbs...it's actually 2 pounds below my pre-preggo weight! WOOHOO!!

Workout yesterday...none :( Yep that's right, no workout yesterday...and if I wanted, I have a REALLY good reason...Dash woke up 4 times between 12 & 4 before I decided to bring him to bed with me, where he decided to play for about 45 minutes before falling back to sleep. Yesterday I. WAS. EXHAUSTED. And...AND, I have a cold!

But Dash didn't sleep last week & I had a cold then too (worse than yesterday) but I still pulled out a 2 mile run with my sister.

Yesterday I was just plain lazy!!

Today I did a circuit. 30 seconds each station, 3 times around...I'm starting to feel it a little now this afternoon, but pain is good right?!?

9/26 Circuit
*Squat jumps, back lunges
*fast feet
*side-to-side push-ups, flies, on back, legs at an angle (5-8 lbs weights)
*mountain climbers
*bicep curls with a shoulder press, skull crushers
*burpees
*plank, isometric scissors crunch
*jumping jacks

Good luck with your journey! I know you will be successful. I hope you see results soon, that is always the annoying part, how slow it comes off and how easy it is to put it on! You will be amazing! And very brave putting yourself out there where everyone can see and track your progress! You are always welcome to do a race with me, it will be fun :)
