The kids were playing one morning, riding a mattress down the stairs. They do it a lot & love it & always have a good time. Well, one trip down, Kayla fell off at the bottom and hit her eye on the corner of the coffee table.

| This is the gash, not too bad. Jeremy & I debated on whether or not to take her in. If it had been one of the boys we definitely would have let it go. |

| Day after, 4 stitches later. You can see just a little bruise. |

| Day 3. It's hard to see her bruise but that little dot on the corner of her eye appeared. |

She got her stitches out the next day. New bruises appeared after that across the top of her eyelid. Out of all our kids, we never thought Kayla would be our first one to need stitches!
