Ammon had to get a cavity fixed a few weeks ago. My #1 job was to make sure he did not bite his lip while it was numb...well I fell asleep while he was playing on the Wii. He ALWAYS chews on his lip when he plays and completely chewed off the back side. I totally failed my son & he had to deal with this for about a week. It is just 1 day old here. It was SO gross. It got all yellow & nasty, for a bit we thought it was infected but it never got worse. I'm happy to say now he has a normal lip again and I think I've learned my lesson, which is not don't let me kids chew on their lip when it's numb, but make them floss!!
