So I have been putting off blogging because I don't know where to begin...I think I mentioned that in my last post. I have also been SO incredibly tired I haven't had the energy to post. I'm on the computer a lot, but it's more of mindless, time passing playing...blogging I have to actually think...you know? So I thought I'd post about a few things that have been on my mind lately and also about a few things I want to post about later.
*Kayla has been writing these cute stories at school. Her teacher gives her a prompt & then she goes with it. Some are SO funny. I'm planning on posting 1 a week until I get through the ones I have.
*I am a horrible mother...a few examples...
-I haven't posted anything about Jen's or Ryan's birthdays. I did progression pics of everyone else but not theirs. I hope to still get to that soon...oh, and Jeremy's too!!
-I put an alarm clock in Kayla's room & told her she is my back-up if I sleep through the alarm clock to get the kids up for school.
-I let the boys play on the Wii or watch TV for HOURS after lunch until the girls get home from school so I can have a nap.
*It has been so great having a new baby in the house. The girls still don't like him, but we're working on that.
*I think I'm going to start digital scrapbooking. Anyone know of good free sites to use? Are there free sites to use? And then where do you have yours printed?
*I try to make a daily goal of showering...I brushed my hair & teeth today, but not quite a shower...that's still good right?
*I'm finding myself a little bit lost right now without any school work to do. BUT it is great not having school right now!
*My baby is 4 weeks old today!

You never mentioned your girls not liking Dash. Is it because they really wanted another girl? They will get over it!
You are not a horrible mother. You are doing what you can to survive right now and it will get better. I think you are one of the best moms I know.
Ask Heidi about digital scrapping. She does a ton with it!
You have a brand new baby! Your other kids are supposed to watch more TV- that's why God invented it! I haven't posted anything for Lacy's b-day and have no excuse! I LOVE digi scrapping!!!! I use photoshop elements. There is a free trial out there. It's worth the $$, around $60-$70. (Maybe for a b-day?) The best part is, after the program the only other cost is printing. The cheapest way to do that is in a book like Shutterfly or Artscow. If you make your pages in 12x12, but you can print them any size. Artscow has a $3.99 deal for a 6x6? maybe 4x4.

When I don't have time or brain enough to scrap- I download. I put them in folders according to color. Templates are awesome too- I have a hard time figuring out layouts.
But the best part is..... I just close the laptop when the kiddos need me, and it's all there when I come back!!!
