Corned Beef & Cabbage
Every year the Sunday before St. Patty's Day we make corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. The kids LOVE the corned beef and ask for seconds and sometimes even thirds but the cabbage and potatoes and carrots are just not their thing so this year I made a deal with them...they can choose to eat just the cabbage or just the potatoes and carrots. Both girls chose the potatoe and carrot deal but then asked if they could just eat the carrots. I told them they could trade in 1 potatoe for 2 carrots...following me so far? So everything was settled, dinner was nearly over & Jer & I were cleaning up when Jennie came over and said...

That is too funny! I wonder what she would do if you stopped doing her laundry and told her you didn't have a contract...
