Here she is! The big girl on the big day! I almost cried dropping her off. I can't believe I have a first grader! She picked out her own outfit for the day...her favorite hello kitty shirt & her flower skirt which is also the outfit she wore for picture day. Not the one I wanted but you have to pick your battles right?!?On the night of her 1st day she had homework. All she had to do was a paper all about her & if any of you have ever met Kayla that is the one thing she loves to talk about the most but she couldn't think of anything for any answers. So about an hour after starting her homework she finally put her head down on the table & cried out "1st grade homework is too hard!!" We've been lucky enough not to have homework again so far!
